FYI: Volume 1 contains the 12 issue original miniseries, and is a complete story. For the rest of his career, Rosa would return to young Scrooge’s life and fill in the timeline established in Life and Times. These additional stories have been collected different ways over the years, but today are collected as The Life & Times Volume 2.
P.S. I do not know if Fantagraphics has started removing any chapters from these. If someone gets a copy that is missing chapters or pages please let me know in the comments and I’ll update here accordingly.
